Throughout the year I have tried to take part in nearly everything given to us. I think this year was very helpful to me as I've a clearer mind on what I want to do after school as I was able to look at college courses when I had free time and I took part in a competition which would've allowed me to stay a week in the UL college and sit in classes and I've gained more confidence in doing things and in myself, I gained this by doing opportunities given to us such as doing the Fainne speaking in front of the class which also helped with my Irish and the Alan Devine workshop public speaking.
As I got more comfortable and confident, I was able to enjoy being able to talk to more students in the year that I normally wouldn't have before hand.
I also learned new things such as learning how to play ukulele in class and also developing my CV from doing work experience in the crèche and eternal beauty.
I enjoyed doing group projects in Irish, Science , music etc with my classmates which helped to get to know them better and going on trips with them such as Barcelona was a good experience.
I think my favourite part of TY was Barcelona as I'm originally from Spain and it was nice to go back for the three days especially with my mates.
