Monday
Double P.E: Everyone did the bleep test and got their results at the end of class,myself and cialan cleaned out the storage since we couldn't do p.e.
Enterprise: We got handouts on marketing and market research,We also highlighted the key words.
French: We read pieces of the booklet and answered questions with our partners.
Music: We played the ukuleles in class and learned the notes.
Maths: We had to solve a problem in pairs.
Irish: We got into groups and spoke to eachother in Irish to see how much we could say .
Tuesday
Tutor: We continued on with our portfolios with the new computers they got.
Construction: Completed the memo blocks.
Drama: We continued singing and dancing for the 'TY calypso'.
Guidance: we went to the computer room to do a personality test.
English: We started reading chapter 2 of the novel 'the help'.
Triple Art: the groups who did clay bowls last week now had to makes vases while the group who made vases will make bowls this week.
Wednesday
Music: We played more of the ukuleles and practiced for the school medley 'All shook up'.
English/Religion: Saint Vincent De Paul with Paul.
Maths: We continued on solving the problem.
Religion: We talked about the variety show.
Business: We continued reading the handouts which we received last week about entrepreneurs.
I.T:Mr Malomphy help set up our school website accounts.
Eu studies: we didn't have class today.
Irish: We read the sheets given to us and highlighted the words we didn't understand.
Thursday
Tutor: Both TY groups were brought together in room ED with Ms Murtagh and Ms Dunn who showed us a video of the children who receive the Christmas show boxes and how thankful they are.
Double home ec: We cooked Thai spicy chicken cakes.
Religion: Ms Dunn told us about the organisations she used to work with and how they brought her to different countries before she became a teacher.
Irish: We went to the computer room and used teannglann.ie to translate words we didn't know.
Enterprise: We went onto the student enterprise award website which showed information to help us more on what to do with the company.
English: We read chapter 3 of the help.
Double science: We learned a lot about he plant cells and the animal cells.We also learned about the hydrogen bonding and how it was at the 'Giants Causeway'.
